The Comforter's Quilt: The Comforter's Quilts was started by Sue Miller in the fall of 2006. Sue lost her husband of 30 years to cancer in January 2003. During the long months that followed, she wanted to do something that would honor her husband's memory and give something to other patients who might need a hug during a time of illness. Thus, the Comforter's Quilts was birthed. Since then Sue has quilted over 50 quilts, and given them to special need babies, cancer patients, the elderly, and made sleeping bags for the homeless.
